Mostly just wanted to ask people what a good combination of sizes for walls might kind of work all the way around.I keep coming across people who need a larger size and some need a wide-screen size. I believe I can render the same wall in both but I could sure use some opinions on the sizing combonation.

Widescreens

1024x576 1024x640
1152x648 1152x720
1280x720 1280x800
1600x900 1900x1188
1920x1440 2560x1600

Normals

800x600 960x768
1024x768 1080x864
1152x864 1280x1024
1280x960
1600x1200

Go with the ones that are most requested. Combine popular standard and widescreen. This way you have something for everyone.

1400x900 is what I use, so I'd personally like to see more widescreen resolutions being made, but a good combination of both is welcomed.

I can some what guess about that on the normals but the wide screen is not familiar to us. I have thought about doing the 1600x900,1900x1188 or just do high resolution to work around for some.

OK Island Dog, I found 1440x900,1680x1050 and 1920x1200. We are assuming this is your category. Thanks for the input. That was most helpful!

I think it's best to make them as hi-res as you can (1600x1200 and up, but try to include 1280x1024 because it's an odd one). There's nothing more annoying than finding all these cool walls and they're 1024x768 when you use 1280x1024 and higher. Things resize a lot better going down than trying to stretch them up, they get all crappy and distorted. I can easily resize and recrop a wall that's higher than my res (1280x1024) but trying to salvage something smaller is nearly impossible while still trying to maintain quality.

Hey Bebi Bulma,

I just got back and I did find some sizes that I thought were odd to me. It was 960x768,1080x864 and the 1280x1024 that you spoke of. So in all that size would make total of 4. I'm incline to agree with you on the resolution thing.I haven't found any numbers above 1280x1024 yet. I still have a little time as I'm on the fist render of a set of combos. And thanks for your help.

Lantec Hey
That thing sounds bigger then my house! Sorry I couldn't let that one get by me. The only thing that I can think of would be a Dual Monitor! By any chance dose that size need to be split or something if that isn't to silly of a question?
